I think my parents tried this wh...Very interesting!<br />I think my parents tried this when we were kids. My dad spoke to us in English and my mom in Spanish. But it wasn't easy when they were always speaking in English to each other, it was the dominant language in the house. If we hadn't moved to Mexico for a few years I don't know if we would have ever become truly fluent in Spanish. And I had French thrown in since the age of 4 thanks to the Lycée Français.<br />Now I wonder how I would raise my future child, since I would like to be able to communicate to them in all 3 languages since they are an integral part of me. That day hasn't come yet, but I had always considered doing one day - one language. And just rotating through...
